Script.

Scene 1

Location: Kirkburn – Church.

The Church bell rings 6 times. Camera stays stationary on the eerie Church.

Location: Kirkburn – Tom’s house.

Toast pops up, and Louise takes it through into the living room for Tom.

Louise: Here you are.

Tom: Thank you.

Louise sits down and they begin to watch the television. The news comes on.

Reporter: (On the television) Millions of people have been infected today with a deadly virus. It is thought to be connected to this man, Professor Brown. Police are ordering people to stay indoors and to remain calm.

(Back to living room)

Louise: We’ve gotta get out of here!

Tom: Yeah let’s go!

Tom and Louise run up the stairs into Tom’s bedroom, and begin gathering their equipment; coats, backpacks and sleeping bags.

After gathering their things, they run back down the stairs and out the house. Grasping each other’s hands, they sprint down the garden path, and make their escape.

As they run they are attacked by someone carrying the infection. However, they are rescued by Sean, as he runs down the path and fights Joe off.

Sean, Tom and Louise flee to Sean’s car to make their escape.

Off Camera: They are in a car crash. Sean and Louise die, but Tom was able to escape.

Scene 2

The scene opens with Tom wrapped in his sleeping bag in a forest, sat at the base of a tree. He puts his glasses on and has a look around from where he is sat.

He stands up and begins to collect his belonging and roll up his sleeping bag.

During his sequence, there is a voice over from Tom.

Tom’s voice over: Day three. Three Days since a devastating virus was released onto the human race causing millions to evacuate their homes. It causes nausea, cannibalism and a super sensitivity to ultra violet rays. I’m alone now. There was an accident. The people I was with were killed in a car crash but managed to escape. I’ve been travelling for days now, trying to find safety, trying to find food but to no avail.

Tom ventures into the forest looking for food and safety.

He finally discovers an abandoned cabin. He looks through the windows, and it appears empty. He uses his glasses to pick the lock, and manages to enter. Cautiously, he walks through the house, and into the kitchen. He searches through the cupboards, and finds some tins of food. Whilst packing them into his bag, he is startled by the sound of someone entering the house. He quickly flees.

Mark enters the house, and walks through the living room holding a gun. He shoots at the window as Tom runs past, escaping.  He runs off into the bushes..

The film ends with Tom walking off into the distance.
